Marie Adele Summers
Company and Creative Director
At the tender age of twelve, Marie’s journey in the world of entertainment commenced with a role in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,’ sharing the stage with the legendary ‘carry-on star’ Charles Hawtry. This early exposure set the stage that would define a lifelong love for the performing arts.
In 1982, Marie’s professional career took a decisive turn when she joined a three-part vocal harmony group, marking the initiation of her full-time commitment to the world of music and performance. A pivotal moment arrived when she appeared on ‘Opportunity Knocks’ TV show, a platform that propelled her into the spotlight and opened doors to new horizons.
The lure of London beckoned, and she found herself at Caesars Palace, supporting artistes such as Cliff Richard, Shirley Bassey, and Dionne Warwick. A subsequent stint in the West End, specifically at Drury Lane’s ‘The Talk Of London,’ positioned her as the principal lead vocalist, further solidifying her presence in the heart of the entertainment capital.
After performing her cabaret show across Europe and India, a change in direction beckoned. A unique opportunity emerged to collaborate with choreographers Peter Gordon and Alan Harding, leading her to embark on a 15-year sea adventure with Celebrity Cruise Lines. Performing aboard renowned cruise liners such as Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean, Crystal Harmony and Saga, her love for the sea intertwined seamlessly with her passion for the theatre.
In 2005, the culmination of her artistic journey saw the creation of Timeless, a venture founded alongside Colin Francis Stephenson. This venture granted them the canvas to conceptualise and produce shows both within the UK and abroad.
